Mobile Archery Parties, Events & Media Days

Experience Archery is a fully mobile company covering London and the South East; we can bring an Archery session to you for a children’s or adults archery party, team building day, corporate or media event, school have a go’s or community fairs or even regular weekly clubs. We can run these sessions both indoors and outdoors.

What Sort of venues are Suitable for Archery:

Sports, Schools, Community or Church Halls. Hotels, Colleges or University Grounds and Function rooms, Private Indoor or Outdoor Spaces. So if you have a venue in mind for an archery party or event, please don’t hesitate to get in touch and we can assess its suitability.

Children’s Archery Parties:

We can bring an archery party to an indoor or outdoor venue you hire for your child’s birthday party, our minimum age for these sessions is 8 years old (9th birthday) and mobile archery parties are typically limited to 12 participates.

These sessions typically last 75 minutes and we provide all the equipment needed to run a fun and safe archery session using real bows and arrows. Then once everyone’s had plenty of practise we finish off the session with a fun competions with medals for the top three archers on the day.

Corporate Away Days or Multi Activity Events:

We can provide archery as the main activity for the day with set time slots for a specific number of participants or as rolling style have a go archery session at multi-activity event days where participants can step up and shoot a few arrows before moving on to another activity.

Archery is a fun and sociable sport ideal for a team building activity days; it can reduce stress and anxiety and promote both self-esteem and emotional well-being while giving immediate satisfaction to the participants as their arrow hits its target.

Media and Promotional Archery Events:

Experience Archery have worked on numerous film, advertising, photography, computer and media promotional events and campaigns. Including; The UK Press Junket for the 2018 Robin Hood Film, Online Promotional Film for CAPCOM’s Dragon’s Dogma Game, Promotional Press Day for Disney’s Film Brave, Promotional Days for Blue Sky’s Film Epic, Promotional Press Day for EA’s Crysis 3 Game. As well as various other adverts and media campaigns.

Leander Pittis from Experience Archery is also an actor and has featured in advertising campaigns for Toshiba and performed archery in various other films such as Snow White and the Huntsman and Jack and the Giant Slayer as well as various print and media promotions.

Schools & Colleges Archery Taster Days:

We can bring our mobile set up to your school or college sports hall or field for a morning or full day of archery. We generally work with children aged 8 years old upwards, but for schools we can accommodate year 3s in the Summer Term.

Sessions can run for anything from 50mins – 1.5hrs and generally with up to 12 participants per session meaning in a school day we can run five 1hr sessions accommodating up to 60 participants over the day.

Community and School Fairs:

We can bring our mobile set up to you if you have a suitable indoor or outdoor space and run a rolling style have a go archery day where participants can step up and shoot a few arrows before moving on to try another activity.

Of course if they get hooked they can always come back around for another go. We will charge a set fee for the day or half day leaving you able to then charge participants to take part in the activity if you wish.

Terms & Conditions/Cancellations:

By booking with us, you agree to the following:
Notice periods:
A minimum of 7 days’ notice (up to the day before the booked event) is required to amend a Have-a-Go Lesson, One-to-One Lesson, or Lesson for Two People.
A minimum of 14 days’ notice (up to the day before the booked event) is required for a Beginner Course, Archery Party or Group Booking, or Mobile Event.
(Example: For a Saturday session, notice must be received by the previous Friday).
Cancellations and refunds:
Payments are non-refundable for cancellations or no-shows with less than the required notice.
Amendments or cancellations made with more than 7 or 14 days’ notice will incur a 20% administration fee of the total booking cost.
Provider cancellations:
We may cancel or postpone a session at our discretion. If this occurs, you will be notified by email and offered a refund, new date, or credit voucher. No other costs (e.g. travel or accommodation) will be covered.
Attendance:
Our costs for venue hire and coaching remain the same whether or not you attend. Late cancellations or non-attendance will not be refunded or credited.
Force Majeure:
We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our control (e.g. severe weather, illness, or government restrictions). In such cases, we will offer to reschedule or provide a credit voucher at our discretion.

Leander Pittis

Leander Pittis

Founded Experience Archery in 2009 as there was a shortage of year round indoor shooting opportunities for children and adults in London. He is an Archery GB level 2 Coach and also a NCF Crossbow instructor. He has been coaching for over 14 years and shooting Olympic recurve for over 17 years. Leander has won numerous local and county competitions including Middlesex and Bedfordshire indoor championships. He started his archery journey while working as an actor and has used his shooting skills in various films, adverts and promotional events. Leander coaches more than shoots these days and enjoys teaching beginners as well as working with more experienced archers.

Phil Darkin

Phil Darkin

Is an Archery GB level 1 Session Coach. Phil mainly shoots Barebow recurve, but also shoots a traditional Flat Bow too. He shoots target and field archery at his club in south London but enjoys sharing his knowledge running beginner courses, have a go taster sessions and parties for children and adults with Experience Archery.

Joe Ellul

Joe Ellul

Joe has been passionate about archery for the past eight years, developing his skills and deepening his love for the sport with every arrow he’s loosed. Wanting to give something back to the archery community, he decided to train as a coach, earning his Archery GB Level 1 qualification. For the past two years, he has been sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm by teaching with us, helping new archers discover the joy and discipline of the sport.

Joe enjoys shooting a wide range of bows at his club in East London, including the English longbow, compound bow, and a horse bow. Each offers its own unique challenge and feel, but his true passion lies with the English longbow. He even makes his own arrows by hand, using traditional techniques that connect him to the long history of archery.
