The Have a Go archery lesson was not only a well-spent Sunday afternoon but a brilliantly guided insight into this amazingly fun discipline. The instructors Lee and Simon proved to be great at explaining the basics making it very clear and comprehensive for beginners in relaxed and interesting way. Furthermore, the group was nice, friendly and even very positively competitive and in the mood for the “mini-tournament” at the end. I would definitely recommend this session to anyone looking for both good fun and a cool learning experience. Overall, I had an amazing time and cannot wait for another opportunity. Thumbs up!
There were 6 Maid Marians celebrating my 50th birthday. Lee was excellent. The lesson started with a safety briefing followed by each person having individual tuition. We then had a practise sessions finishing up with a mini tournament for 1st 2nd & 3rd place. It truly was great fun. I thoroughly recommend it and Lee was perfect as an instructor a really nice calm person. Thank you.
Very well run and the morning was excellent. Everyone enjoyed themselves and I would not hesitate recommending this to anyone interested in trying something new. The competition was a great way to round off the session.
I recently attended a 5 week beginners archery course and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made. The course teacher Lee was very friendly and great at making everyone feel at ease. The lessons are well paced which allowed for plenty of shooting, which in turn built up confidence and made it more fun. The equipment is first rate and caters to the needs of both left and right handed people equally. A worthwhile experience and worth the time and money.
My son had an archery party for his 9th birthday with 10 of his friends, they all had a fantastic time and must have been buzzing still when they got home as had lovely feedback from their parents too. Very well organised and Lee and his colleague were great teachers.
